The Delta de l’Ebre is the best humid area of Catalonia, with an area of 320 km2. Constitueix one of the most important aquatic habitats in western Mediterrani. L’equilibri between the seva riches natural and l’explotació per part de l’home has not been easy, per això, l’any 1983, the Generalitat de Catalunya will approve the creation of the Natural Park of Delta de l’Ebre, which occupies the regions of Montsià (hemidelta dret) and Baix Ebre (hemidelta esquerre).
