Palacio del Flamenco – Flamenco Show

The Palacio del Flamenco in Barcelona reopened in 2006 after extensive renovations. The result is one of Barcelona’s most elegant venues for flamenco performances, combining classical elements of the historic building with contemporary decoration and a comfortable dining area. The 450 person venue includes auditorium style seating, where guests can enjoy a complete dinner service which concludes before the flamenco show.

The location is in the heart of the city center of Barcelona, only a few blocks away from Gaudi’s famous Casa Mila (La Pedrera) and the University of Barcelona. Two metro lines (L3 and L5) stop within a few minutes’ walk of the Palacio del Flamenco.

There are three nightly flamenco shows and the dinner service is starting before the show. The show includes up to 15 different artists on stage, including singers, dancers, guitar players and other musicians. Featured are several different styles of Flamenco of interest to both flamenco enthusiasts as well as first time viewers. The list of artists also changes often to keep the show fresh with different types of flamenco as well as solo performances. The “Flamenco Experience” is an additional short performance before the main show which is included in price of the ticket. The performance is held in the waiting room as customers arrive. The schedule is as follows 17:25 and 17:55 (before the 18:25 show); 19:25 and 19:50 (before the 20:20 show); 21:20 and 22:00 (before the 22:30 show).

The Palacio del Flamenco is an ideal setting for groups. The venue offers a separate lounge area to host special functions and meetings. Packages include the hosting of VIP events with additional services such as wine or sherry tastings, special dinner menus, open bar and VIP lounge. For international customers, there is the advantage of the multilingual staff on hand to help with any questions or special requests.
